Duffy is a loveable Irish terrier who has been struggling with his health for a while now.
He developed diabetes that eventually damaged his eyesight, and while medication helped the former stabilise, the latter was gone for good. Or so people thought. See, science of medicine has been making leaps and bounds while we weren’t looking (pardon the pun), and now, it’s possible to regain lost vision. Not just for humans, but animals too, and Duffy was one of them. His family signed him up immediately, and his surgery happened at the Veterinary Referral Center in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
It’s not just his face that’s got everyone clutching their hearts.
It’s his tail wagging like crazy, and his little mewls and cries, his own versions of tears of joy. It’s such an emotional moment, and everyone’s freaking out over it. Can you imagine what it must be like for Duffy? Our vision is our most relied on sight, and without it, we’re… Well. Completely blind.
His reaction is heart wrenching.
