What would you do if you found an abandoned dog on the road? Any kind and animal-loving person would definitely stop and try their best to help. That is what this Florida couple did when they found a dog late near Oviedo.
They were driving late at night when they found an abandoned and disheveled pupper. He was not responding and seemed like a victim of severe neglect for all the years of his life. The couple could not keep him overnight, so they reached out to social media. Luckily, a pet groomer, Kari Falla, agreed to take him into her care.
“When a dog is matted that badly, it can cause its blood flow to stop as well as bruising to the dog,” Kari expressed her concern to Inside Edition. She opened her shop in the middle of the night, unprepared for the surprise she was in for. Falla continued, “I knew it was bad, but nothing prepared me for what I saw. It smelled like death and the dog could not walk.”
