This Pup Became A Monk And The Story Behind It Is Heartwarming

Do you visit Monasteries frequently?

If you do, or even if you don’t, you have got to visit the St Francis Monastery in Cochabamba, Bolivia where a little pup is now their newest member. The stray dog named Friar Bigoton (Friar Mustache) has been taken in by the monastery and is now a monk.

Friar happily lives there in the company of people who have to offer him nothing but peace and love. One of the main purposes for this was to set an example for the other monasteries to take in helpless and stray pets and give them the life they deserve. A fellow monk Jorge Fernandez told Dodo that“His life is all about playing and running,” “Here, all of the brothers love him very much. He is a creature of God.”

So now that being said, let’s take a look at the monk everyone is talking about.
