We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of building every feature — not an afterthought.
What we’ve done
Keyboard friendly
Core journeys work without a mouse, with visible focus styles and skip links.
Readable contrast
Text and controls are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios in both light and dark modes.
Screen-reader ready
Semantic headings, labelled controls, alt text on meaningful images, and ARIA where it helps.
Calm by default
A dark “Night Walk” mode, and we respect your “reduce motion” setting.
Known limitations
We’re honest that some third-party embeds (like maps or video) and older content may not yet be fully accessible. We’re working through these and prioritise fixes that affect core tasks.
If something on Doggo is hard to use with your device or assistive technology, please let us know — tell us the page and what happened. We’ll fix it, and give you the information another way in the meantime.
