Tervuren are stunning, highly intelligent herding dogs — energetic, driven and quick to learn, excelling at obedience, agility and herding. They need a great deal of exercise AND mental work, plus a confident, positive owner; bored or under-stimulated, they get anxious and busy. The long coat needs regular grooming. Sensitive and intensely bonded, they’re magnificent for an experienced, active owner and overwhelming for a casual one.
