Chinese Shar-Pei

Shar-Pei are quiet, clean and deeply loyal one-family dogs with a strong guarding instinct and clear reserve toward strangers and other dogs — early socialisation and confident handling are essential. The famous wrinkles and tight eyelids need real care to prevent skin-fold and eye problems, and the breed has notable inherited health issues. Calm and low-energy, they suit an experienced owner committed to socialisation and skin care.
