Scottish Terrier

Scotties are self-assured, sometimes stubborn terriers — deeply loyal to their family but reserved with strangers and not eager to please. They need daily walks and a bit of digging-and-sniffing fun, plus regular hand-stripping or clipping of the wiry, low-shedding coat. Brave and a touch territorial (the ‘Diehard’), they reward a patient owner who respects an independent, characterful little dog.
